Sex and the City

Carrie’s life looks like a fairy tale. She finally has not only the man of her dreams – Mr Big (Chris Noth), whom she is set to marry – but the apartment of her dreams. But wait, she’s even got the wardrobe of her dreams for storing all the designer labels of her dreams. Meanwhile, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is blissfully married, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) is juggling motherhood and career, while sex-mad Samantha (Kim Cattrall) is juggling a very different set of balls out in Hollywood with her hunk (Jason Lewis).

Starring: Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kritin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth, Jennifer Hudson

Comments: Another favourite of mine. Very up close and personal that easily relates to how woman feels. Seeking love and labels. How true. The long wait for the right kind of guy - Rich, sweet, caring... The power of love letter or poems that can easily touched many hearts. Losing all motivations after a breakup and looking like a ghost then. Not only that, being paronoid when you felt that life is just simply too blessed to be true. The stress level of juggling motherhood and career. The unforgiveable mistake when your husband cheated on you. Or even the part where one cracks ideas of more interesting sex for someone you love. Not forgetting, the decision to leave that someone you once deeply loved, though the love has died. All these are just so real and happening around me. Oh well, I am still hunting for the right one though I am afraid to be heartbroken again.

It's a nice, quick-pace, not long winded movie with lots of nice labels, clothes, shoes, bags and all. And I fell in love with Carrie's hair. Plus nice heels. Just a pity, I am too tall for sleek, thin, sexy heels. Oh dread.

Well, after watching the movie, just wished that I was borned in New York with all these fashion people around me and hoping that I might have in real life - the firm, trusted and fun friendship in the show. Mr Big in real life. Labels. haa .. i am going to star dreaming.
