Sex and the City

Carrie’s life looks like a fairy tale. She finally has not only the man of her dreams – Mr Big (Chris Noth), whom she is set to marry – but the apartment of her dreams. But wait, she’s even got the wardrobe of her dreams for storing all the designer labels of her dreams. Meanwhile, Charlotte (Kristin Davis) is blissfully married, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) is juggling motherhood and career, while sex-mad Samantha (Kim Cattrall) is juggling a very different set of balls out in Hollywood with her hunk (Jason Lewis).

Starring: Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kritin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Chris Noth, Jennifer Hudson

Comments: Another favourite of mine. Very up close and personal that easily relates to how woman feels. Seeking love and labels. How true. The long wait for the right kind of guy - Rich, sweet, caring... The power of love letter or poems that can easily touched many hearts. Losing all motivations after a breakup and looking like a ghost then. Not only that, being paronoid when you felt that life is just simply too blessed to be true. The stress level of juggling motherhood and career. The unforgiveable mistake when your husband cheated on you. Or even the part where one cracks ideas of more interesting sex for someone you love. Not forgetting, the decision to leave that someone you once deeply loved, though the love has died. All these are just so real and happening around me. Oh well, I am still hunting for the right one though I am afraid to be heartbroken again.

It's a nice, quick-pace, not long winded movie with lots of nice labels, clothes, shoes, bags and all. And I fell in love with Carrie's hair. Plus nice heels. Just a pity, I am too tall for sleek, thin, sexy heels. Oh dread.

Well, after watching the movie, just wished that I was borned in New York with all these fashion people around me and hoping that I might have in real life - the firm, trusted and fun friendship in the show. Mr Big in real life. Labels. haa .. i am going to star dreaming.

Iron Man

Another Marvel Hero Comics into moVie production. Tony Stark is a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man.

Starring: Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark the Iron Man, Terrence Howard as Rhodey, and Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts

Comments: A very high tech movie for me. Pretty amazed by the technology shown and alot of strange terms to me. A not so sophisticated me. Tony's robots seems to be getting more attention than him who can actually communicate with him just like human to human. Amazing. Even now how to crack a joke or give comments. I wished I had one too =p. Though, not much focus on Gwyneth Paltow, but she is still elegant as usual. Oh my .. Been watching alot of English movies, hope it actually brushes up my poor English. hee. Not much romance but focus on scientific inventions, a good one for comics lovers.

Accuracy of Death

Chiba (Takeshi) appears seven days before a person dies an unexpected death. His job is to observe the person for seven days, and then decide either to execute the person's death or let him/her live further. Getting his work quickly out of the way, he goes to the listening booth of a CD shop and indulges in his favorite pastime, listening to humanity's greatest inventions: music. He is...a Grim Reaper. Today, again, in the rain, he waits. His subject, her death due in seven days, is Kazue Fujiki (Manami), 27. She works for a manufacturing company, in the complaints department. Exhausted after her day, she emerges from her office. It's time for the Reaper to go to work.

Starring : Takeshi Kaneshiro, Manami Konishi

Comments: A non-scary movie about death, instead consitutes unexpected laughter from the Reaper himself and of course .. his Dog. A dog that could speak his minds, together with Takeshi (my lover since 13), work together in executing people's death.

It is rather a slow paced movie, not intended for people who prefers excitement. A twist of fate which is more to female's cup of tea. I love how the director link the 3 tasks given to Takeshi. In fact, it revolves the same person Takeshi met. Japanese movies are love to show love in their movies for their family and loved ones in the extreme heartwarming feeling. Manami, suffered losses from her loved ones, again and again. Thus, determined to dessert his son in the the hope that he will live without her by his side. Despite years of not seeing him, she refuse to meet up with him or even her grandson. Her desires deeply buried ... How many people in life can do that ? I wonder ...

Overall, I love the movie. Importantly of all, my idol's in it.

What Happens In Vegas

This is a story about two strangers awaken together to discover they've gotten married following a night of debauchery in Sin City, and one of them has won a huge jackpot after playing the other's quarter. The newlyweds devise ever-escalating schemes to undermine each other and get their hands on the money – only to find themselves falling in love amid the mutual backstabbing.

Starring : Ashton Kutcher, Cameron Diaz

Comments : Good looking Ashton Kutcher and stylish Cameron Diaz.

Really like Ashton Kutcher in the scene when he wore the suit in attending the party. Neat, charming cut. Charming to the max. Cameron Diaz is another lady who dresses to her style.

Nice show, pretty faces and natural acts.

Another thing you wouldn't forget about the show are the nice songs which seems so memorable and unforgettable. A story which is highly not likely to happen in real life but strangely bring 2 unknown strangers to be deeply in love with each other? After a whole period of 6mths, they start falling for each other. Not only that, they realise only with the other half, they are behaving the most natural way of themselves. haa. Accepting flaws and changing for the better. A good willing change.
