Accuracy of Death

Chiba (Takeshi) appears seven days before a person dies an unexpected death. His job is to observe the person for seven days, and then decide either to execute the person's death or let him/her live further. Getting his work quickly out of the way, he goes to the listening booth of a CD shop and indulges in his favorite pastime, listening to humanity's greatest inventions: music. He is...a Grim Reaper. Today, again, in the rain, he waits. His subject, her death due in seven days, is Kazue Fujiki (Manami), 27. She works for a manufacturing company, in the complaints department. Exhausted after her day, she emerges from her office. It's time for the Reaper to go to work.

Starring : Takeshi Kaneshiro, Manami Konishi

Comments: A non-scary movie about death, instead consitutes unexpected laughter from the Reaper himself and of course .. his Dog. A dog that could speak his minds, together with Takeshi (my lover since 13), work together in executing people's death.

It is rather a slow paced movie, not intended for people who prefers excitement. A twist of fate which is more to female's cup of tea. I love how the director link the 3 tasks given to Takeshi. In fact, it revolves the same person Takeshi met. Japanese movies are love to show love in their movies for their family and loved ones in the extreme heartwarming feeling. Manami, suffered losses from her loved ones, again and again. Thus, determined to dessert his son in the the hope that he will live without her by his side. Despite years of not seeing him, she refuse to meet up with him or even her grandson. Her desires deeply buried ... How many people in life can do that ? I wonder ...

Overall, I love the movie. Importantly of all, my idol's in it.
