The Coffin

This is a real life custom in Thailand. However, I think I do not have the guts to sleep inside. Story is basically about sleeping in a coffin in the hope of warding away bad luck, evil or karma. It says about a man (Ananda) who slept in the coffin in the hope of saving his gf from cancer; a woman (Karen) who slept in the coffin hoping to cure herself from cancer as well. I guess when people are drove to desperation, they would do ANYTHING in hope for some positive things.

After the ritual of sleeping in the coffins, Anada's gf woke up from coma and Karen's lung cancer disappear from her lungs. No scienctific research could explain their miracles... But they cannot be happy for long as strange encounters start to happen. Ghosts haunting them... Thus, they start to set out to stop all these strange encounters.

A few points in the movie shocked me abit. I really jumped. The story is not that scary but I think the point how the director shows love was good. Karen Mok was simply too cool to be true though. And a part got me still wondering how did the Karma affected Anada's Ex gf in the show. Be prepared for surprises scenes which can make you jump. I think that's with Thai movies.

oh well.... Neverthless, it's a rather nice show and of course, i drooled at Ananda. This is the second show I watched that he was in. First was the LEap Years which cast Wang Li Ling.

I think ... he's really charming ... and plus his shows needs him to be full of love, i just fell in love with this new idol of mine... hehe ...
